Anti Tarnish MPB CA
Copper is an active element and since expose in the air, will be reacted with O2 and converts to copper oxide. In fact copper misses two electrons because of its activation and reacts with O2 as follow:
Cu +1/2 O2 = CuO
The copper deposition which results from electrolyze is the same and a black layer from CuO is deposited on the surface since it is exposed on the air. for continue the process, this layer must be removed. MPB CA process is a fairly neutralized which contains buffer components. This solution is used after copper electrolyze. MPB CA removes CuO layer and will prepare the surface of the board for pattern step.MPB CA does not contain any complex agents and the waste disposal is neutralized easily. This solution is used in immersion or spray method.
