Nickel Electroless GFN 141
Nickel Electroless is a process used to deposition a nickel-phosphorus coating onto a suitable substrate such as metal or plastic by chemical reduction without an external electric current.The metallurgical properties of alloys depend on the percentage of phosphorus.
Nickel Electroless coating is uniform, hard, relatively brittle, easily solderable, wear and highly corrosion resistant.
Nickel Electroless GFN 141 is the other of electroless products. This is formed a low phosphorus deposition with a bright appearance. The wear resistance is high while the corrosion resistance is mild.
Density of nickel is high hence the percentage of phosphorus is low.
The hardness is 54 – 56 and can be raised up to 65 – 68 after heat treatment.
